The future for people living with a learning disability cannot be solved in silos. The formation of ICSs and ICBs provides a real opportunity to build a better future, which will need a collaborative approach shaped by various stakeholders from different organisations across the health and care sector.
We met with some of these key stakeholders and, crucially, those with lived experience to discuss how the sector supports people living with a learning disability today and how it needs to change for the better.
