Here is what she had to say about her time with Channel 3:
“Doing a degree is a hard work but landing your first job is even harder for someone like me who has no professional work experience. I got the chance to do a work placement at Channel 3 through Drive Forward Foundation which was very exciting news!
I started getting nervous as the time got closer to the start date as I didn’t know what to expect. However, the whole team in the office including the CEO made me feel welcome and special. They made me feel like I was truly a part of the team and took the time out of their busy schedules just to make sure I learned what I needed to learn. Each person I came across at Channel 3 took the time to teach me how they run their area within the business and spoke to me in detail about their day to day role.
From the time I walked in to the Channel 3 office to the time I finished, the placement was an amazing learning experience.”
