  • NHS England Proof of Concept (PoC) Programme

    This NHSE Proof of Concept Programme, initiated in 2018 and supported by Channel 3 Consulting, explored how wearable technologies could transform care.

    This study sets a precedent for nationwide remote monitoring adoption, supporting virtual ward initiatives and the NHS Long-Term Plan.

  • UHCW EPR implementation

    In partnership with Channel 3 Consulting, UHCW implemented an advanced Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system in June 2024. This transformation required a cultural shift, emphasising innovation at every level, from porters using handheld devices to clinicians engaging in data-driven decisions.

    This EPR model sets a benchmark for other NHS trusts seeking digital transformation.

  • The NHS England GP IT Operating Model review

    The NHS England GP IT Operating Model allocated £269.9 million in baseline funding for 2023/24, aiming to modernise IT services across 42 ICBs, however with limited effectiveness.

    Our work is a framework for ICBs nationwide to achieve consistency and efficiency in GP IT services.

  • Digital Foundations in Reading

    In 2011, Reading Borough Council outsourced its ICT services, leaving minimal in-house capability. With the contract expiring and no extension available, the Council faced time constraints, operational risks and commercial challenges.

    Channel 3 Consulting partnered with the Council to design and transition to a new ICT operating model.

  • Reduced long-term care placements in Nottinghamshire

    With the reactive model of social care often responded to crises rather than preventing them, Nottingham County Council faced increasing demand for care, workforce pressures and financial strain.

    Channel 3 was commissioned by NCC to help develop a plan to scale TEC as the initial phase of their TEC strategy.

  • Citizens Advice Doncaster Cyber Security

    As part of our committment to adding social value we helped Citizens Advice Doncaster to transform their cyber confidence in readines for Cyber Essentials certification.

    Not only was this of value to CA Doncaster themselves but they can share their learning to support the sector more broadly.
