Remote monitoring: Proof of concept³
Harnessing wearable tech and real-time data, Channel³ worked with NHS England to show how digital monitoring can transform care. Across four pilots, we proved remote monitoring can reduce admissions, change patient behaviour, and unlock over £200m in potential savings. The results: more proactive patients, 37% of avoidable admissions predicted, and over 300,000 hospital bed days that could be freed up nationwide.

Rochdale Borough Council: Prevention in action
Through the EPiC programme and Channel³’s blueprint, Rochdale is proving prevention works. In just six months, the council delivered £2.5m in savings, is on track for £8m to reinvest in frontline services and is helping more people live independently at home. Nottinghamshire County Council: £4.3m savings through tech enabled care³
By embedding a ‘TEC first’ approach, Nottinghamshire is shifting social care from crisis response to prevention. Using Intelligent Lilli’s AI-powered sensors, the council is empowering independence, reducing hospital admissions, and projecting £4.3m annual savings. With plans to scale TEC to reach 50% of long-term care users by 2026, Nottinghamshire is setting a new model for councils nationwide.

NHS England GP IT: £270m of opportunity³
Channel³’s national review of GP IT uncovered £270m of opportunity to modernise digital services, improve efficiency, and enhance patient care. By identifying £18.6m of misallocated funding and £40m+ in reallocation opportunities, the project created clarity for 42 ICBs and set a framework for consistent, digital-first primary care nationwide.

Reading Borough Council partnered with Channel³ to design and deliver a new ICT Target Operating Model, moving from a fully outsourced contract to a modern, multi-sourced service. Within tight timescales, four ICT service towers were procured, ensuring continuity, improving quality, and embedding social value for the local community. The result: stable digital foundations that enable future transformation.

Citizens Advice, Doncaster: Building cyber confidence³
Working with Channel³, Citizens Advice Doncaster turned cyber compliance into sector-wide resilience. Together we created clear, fit-for-purpose policies, mentored staff, and developed reusable templates now supporting 50+ local charities. The result: cyber confidence, funding readiness, and a replicable model strengthening the entire VCSE sector.
