Anna is a senior management consultant with extensive expertise in strategy, design, and operational transformation within social care and health systems. With over 10 years consulting experience both in the UK and Australia, she has also held operational leadership roles in Adult Social Care and the NHS.
Before joining Channel 3, Anna was Service Director, Adult and Health Operations at Somerset County Council leading adult social care operational teams across localities, hospitals, mental health and safeguarding. She then moved across to PwC as their national lead Director for Adult Social Care in their consulting practice. Anna was previously Deputy Director for Diagnostics and Therapies at UH Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
Throughout the pandemic, Anna played a pivotal role as a member of the operational system leadership in Somerset, overseeing social work teams and hospital discharge pathways. She led the redesign of the intermediate care model, with the services going on to achieve a 40% increase in people discharged home and an 80% reduction in direct discharges to care homes from acute hospitals.
Anna is passionate about prevention and developing models of care that keep people thriving in their own communities. Her combination of hands-on operational experience and consulting expertise means that she works with clients with insight and empathy, and understands the importance of seeing tangible results.
Outside of work Anna loves to spend time with her family and friends. She is working on improving her running distance and is training for her first half marathon in 20 years.
